Dog Friendly Resorts Victoria

Dog Friendly Resorts Victoria – Like many of you, we’ve heard a lot about RACV Cobram Resort. It is always advertised as one

People flock there from all over the country to experience all that it has to offer. So when the opportunity arose to visit this popular RACV park, caravan with family, we were thrilled.

We also doubt if it will live up to expectations and certainly hope it does after all the hype we’ve heard.

The 9 Best Off Grid Getaways In Victoria

So here’s the verdict… They don’t call this place a “resort” for nothing. That’s what a resort is. 10 acres with everything you can imagine and more for a dream family vacation. Like a beautiful needle and with so much to offer, we don’t even know where to begin with so much to do.

The facility is impeccably maintained and has undergone continuous development over the years. The pitches are large with concrete pads and have a neat and spacious layout. There are many trees that provide plenty of shade and a nice green corridor. Even the toilet blocks are 5 star. My girls enjoyed the soothing daytime music played throughout the baths and it never failed to get a five year old giggle every time we went to the bathroom.

The on-site pool cafe is open all year round and we were sure it would be a big hot breakfast attraction. With a real cafe feel (it’s not a kiosk!) we enjoyed this treat and even more because we had to ‘print’ to get there. The overall experience was great, the weather was warm and sunny, the pool sparkling, the service friendly and the eggs delicious. A fantastic way to start the day.

Despite the many things to do in the local area such as exploring the Murray, checking out Cactus Country, visiting award winning wineries, cruising Lake Mulwala or visiting the historic Bayramini Homestead, we stayed in the park and shared a little family time. We took a long walk while the kids cycled safely on the concrete paths and really appreciated what great equipment they have for kids on bikes or wheels. (If you don’t have bikes, you can rent them or you can rent go-karts for the whole family.)

Dog Friendly Gippsland

The huge playground and shaded jumping platform got a full workout and we headed to the indoor heated pool and spa. The outdoor pool (yes, there are two pools!) has a shallow splash area for the little ones and plenty of seating for parents who want to relax while supervised. There is also tennis, a full-sized basketball court, a gym and a huge game room; we were too busy being busy to have time to blink.

The grounds are beautifully maintained, but what impressed me the most was the actual grounds that RACV Cobram Resort has to offer. Other gardens can feel fragile, or you’re feasting on grassy areas and open spaces while breaking in, and the overall feeling is peaceful because of this. ย This is a real holiday park design triumph.ย  One of the other big perks of this resort is that the caravans and campsites are pet-friendly, meaning you can bring your dogs (as long as they are kept on a lead). Some cabins will also become pet-friendly by mid-2020.

Despite the large garden, the staff were friendly and helpful and we loved having all the amenities in one place. So what can we say? RACV Cobram Resort is true caravanning luxury. This “Pamper Park” justifies its reputation and expectations. we will be back again and again soon.
