Since 1893, visitors to Acadia National Park have stood for the spectacular views and vistas of the Jordan Pool House. If you’re traveling in the summer, don’t miss Tea on the Lawn, a delightful tradition that’s been going on for over 40 years.

Travelers planning their New England itinerary with the comfort of their pets in mind might consider spending a few days in Cape Cod. Many dog-friendly activities and attractions await you and your furry companions, as well as the beautiful beaches of Cape Cod National Seashore and Nauset Light Beach, where they can swim in the shallow waters. 

In addition to dog-friendly beaches, Cape Cod is known for its pet-friendly restaurants and shops. After a day in the sun, head to Barnstable Brewing and Cape Cod Beer, both in Hyannis, and relax at their outdoor seating with a local beer and your pup by your side.
