Located next to a year-round dog-friendly beach, this award-winning dog-friendly villa is a paradise for dogs and their owners. Each villa has a fully enclosed fenced garden so your dog can roam freely (and enjoy the good smell of rabbits!). Our outdoor shower is perfect for washing your feet and sand wells after a beach walk or dune crawl (and also great for washing your wetsuits!).
Our beach villas provide stylish and comfortable accommodation for families, couples, friendly groups and their dogs. All villas are fully equipped for a relaxing, self-catering beach holiday in Devon.
We supply furniture covers to protect sofas and home textiles. If your four-legged friend loves to cuddle up on the couch or you feel like you need more, bring extra blankets to protect all the furniture. The villas have hardwood floors that can be swept and cleaned – no carpets!
Kennels with veterinary equipment are available upon request, freeing up space in the vehicle for other items. Upon arrival, our canine guests will be treated to a Doggy Box with a variety of goodies, including an exclusive Saunton Beach Villas dog tag to wear with pride! We do not charge per dog per night – the £40 per dog fee covers all of your dogs during your stay.

We also stock a range of tried and tested (office dog!) treats from Kelso and Titch, including Doggy Popcorn, delicious sausages and crunchy biscuits! We’re also big fans of the lovely Paw and Nose Balm – perfect for giving your dog some TLC after a walk on the beach!
All of our villas are dog friendly and there is no limit on the number of dogs, however we recommend booking a larger villa if you are bringing 4 or more dogs. For example, if there are 4 people and 5 dogs, you will probably feel more comfortable using 6 beds instead of 4 beds. This is not a booking request, we just want to suggest you all feel comfortable!
We have groups of dogs such as agility teams that stay with us regularly so they can all stay together without worrying about the dog’s boundaries. We often hear from families who haven’t had a holiday in years because they can’t find somewhere to accommodate all their dogs, and we are happy to offer group holidays for these groups.

Pet Friendly Holidays In Uk
Yes, each villa has a fully enclosed garden – fenced approximately 4 feet high and ‘plant and don’t grow’. If you would like a specific fence height for a specific villa, please let us know. In the garden you will find an outdoor shower, perfect for washing sandy feet and shoes after a walk on the beach or to cool down your dog on a hot day!
If you have a dog who could benefit from a quieter space on site, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you on which villa would be most suitable for you.
We do not prohibit our guests from leaving their dogs in the villa if they need to go out. Of course, please practice responsible dog ownership and do not leave your dog for too long or if the temperature in the villa is too high. We also ask that you respect your neighbors and do not leave your dog behind if you know it will be too noisy while you are outside.
Great location and clean and tidy accommodation. All basic needs are met. We booked a 4 day holiday in the height of summer and had a fantastic time – would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a decent no frills stay.

We had a wonderful stay at 5 The Dunes. Perfect location for beautiful Saunton Sands beach. The villa was well equipped and perfect for a family and two large dogs. Great value for money even in school holidays.
Just returned from a 4 day holiday at 3 Dunes at Saunton Beach Villas with my teenage son and our family Cavapoodle Bea 🙂 This place had everything we needed, the location was great and being able to open the back door to the enclosed garden was perfect. We walked on the beach a lot and the food at Beach Grill was delicious. Tip – Have Tesco delivered to your door!

Very nice place to stay. Clean and comfortable villa with everything you need for a self-catering stay. The beach was beautiful and our dog really enjoyed running along the beach and through Burroughs. It’s sad to leave and go home but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back maybe more next time.

We spent 3 nights at Saunton and really enjoyed it. The accommodation is clean and well equipped. You have to bring your own towels, but they tell you that in the information. The location is great, very close to the beach.
We really enjoyed our stay here, and the dog often walked around. The staff is very helpful
