Best Dog Friendly Walks Sydney – Breaking news: The team has discovered a friendly (and cheeky) dog-friendly tour in Sydney that you didn’t know about. Yes, it’s clear that Sydney has its own dog-loving streets. Two Creeks Track is located in Central Harbour, just 15 minutes from the city, but trust us, you and Pupper will feel like you’re in the middle of the Australian bush.
We do not allow dogs in any of our Australian parks and part of the Two Creek Track through Garigal National Park. Unfortunately, there is a part of this road that should not be visited. But you and your dog have access to more than 4km of track, which can easily change back to 8km.

Challenging valleys, small elevation changes and lots of rock steps make this hike a beautiful and heart-warming experience you’ll find in exercise. The best part? The route is close to the national park, so you can see the natural beauty of Australia. He also donated money to Manly.

The trail has multiple access points, making this hike easy to fit any interest or distance.
Do you want to have a date? After your walk, we recommend sipping rosé and eating steak at Echo Point Park. We feel it’s a great place to watch the sunrise (even if your dog will approve if it means more time by the barbecues!).
We are Pet Food and we are on a mission to help dogs live the best life in Australia. We create a happy life for your dog through the right concept of nutrition, fresh dog food delivered to your front door.
Before you make a personal, permanent plan, give your dog a tongue taste test of the recipe you’ve chosen.

By Olivia Blazevic Lifestyle Content Manager Sydney’s Northern Beaches are home to some great dog walks, whether it’s a leisurely stroll along the beach or a nice bush walk where your dog is welcome. Check out my favorite dog friendly trips to Sydney’s Northern Beaches and get ready to hit the road with your pup…
One of my favorite dog friendly walks on the Northern Beaches is the Narrabeen Lagoon Trail. You can complete the 5.4-mile loop around the lake or walk a short section of this trail that passes through water parks, trees, and boardwalks above the lake.
Dog Friendly Beaches In Greater Sydney & Beyond
The trail is a flat, multi-use trail that alternates between sections of asphalt road, dirt highway, and boardwalk. There are many signs along the way so you don’t get lost or don’t know how far you have to go.
There are many parking lots and access points around the lake where you can start and finish your walk, but some of the pads are very expensive. My favorite places on this trip are the forests near Bilarong Reserve and Jamieson Park.
Dogs must be kept on a leash while walking, but to leave (and park for free) you can go to Deep Creek Reserve. Although you could easily spend the whole day, allow 2-3 hours to walk the entire distance around the lake without many stops!
One of the most popular walks on the Northern Beaches is the Spit Bridge to Manly Walk. Although the normal route takes you to the dog-free area of Sydney Harbor National Park at Dobroyd Head, you can follow the dogs that avoid the nature reserve.
Best Dog Walks In Sydney & Blue Mountains For A Tail Wagging Advent
When I was in Manly recently, I noticed that recently the sign for pedestrians changed to a clear dog friendly sign at the back of the road; You don’t need to copy the instructions below. The modified version is 9 km long.
This walk starts at the north end of the Spit Bridge and follows the Fisher Bay Walk. A few minutes later you will arrive at Sandy Cove, the perfect beach for dogs. It’s a great place to let your dog run around and enjoy paddling, even at low tide.
Keeping your dog on a leash, continue through Clontarf Reserve, then follow the Clontarf Track. When you reach the beginning of the National Park, you should turn left onto Cutler Road. There are several roads that you can use, leading to Forty Baskets Bay.
There are no dog-free areas all the way to Manly Wharf. Dogs are allowed off Tania Park and North Harbor Reserve.
The Best Dog Friendly Nature Walks In Sydney (and Where To Get A Beer After)
The journey is usually one-way; Travelers return to their starting point by bus or ferry back to town; If you have a dog it is even more difficult. If you have a small dog and are bringing a carrier, you can take them on the bus, otherwise you will have to go back.
The best way to get dogs to the Spit Bridge to Manly Walk is to start your walk at North Harbor Reserve in Balgowlah. From the marina it’s an easy 1 mile walk along the beach via Fairlight to Manly Wharf with no sidewalks. It’s also easier to retrace your steps later.
To make it easier, it is better to start from the North Harbor Reserve and walk to Manly Wharf, but you can also do it the other way. Dogs must be on a leash during the tour, but off-leash is allowed in the North Harbor Reserve.
Another easy way to find dogs on the other side of Manly is along the road behind Manly Beach. Surprisingly, although dogs are not allowed on this famous beach or near Queenscliff or Shelly Beaches, loose dogs are allowed to follow you along the path.
The Best Dog Friendly Walk In Jervis Bay
If you follow the path from the northern end of Queenscliff Beach to the beautiful Shelly Beach, you can enjoy a 2.5km walk. The route is mixed and smooth (and good if you have a trip). There are plenty of dog-friendly restaurants or benches along the trail where you can sit and enjoy the view.
Head north to Manly Lagoon at Queenscliff to combine walking and swimming at the dog beach. Manly Lagoon Park and Lagoon Park West are dog parks, and the sandy beach is a popular spot where dogs can enjoy a paddle. However, remember that the quality of the water fluctuates and entering the lake should be avoided during heavy rains.
While visiting the Northern Beaches, there are many other beautiful walks that you can enjoy with your dog. One of my favorites is the steep Dee Why from the Curl Curl Cliff Walk.
The walk starts south of Dee Why Rockpool. The Rocky Trail, with parts of the boardwalk, continues 1.5 km south of the North Curl Curl Surf Club, runs between million dollar buildings and cliffs; The views along the way are amazing!
Dog Friendly Walks Blue Mountains
Parking is available at the end of the street. Paid parking can be expensive, but there is also free parking on the street nearby. You have to repeat your steps from where you started.
Be aware that the journey is often rough and rocky and some small dogs may need assistance at times. Keep your dog on a leash at all times, especially near the top of the cliff.
The southern end of the trail is near Curl Curl Lagoon, also known as Curl Curl Dog Beach, a popular swimming spot. Technically, dogs are only allowed off the south side of the lake, in the Flora and Ritchie Roberts Preserve; This is a detour considering that dogs are not allowed on the short coastal path.
The shortest but most scenic walk is to the north of Sydney’s northern beaches. It is possible to start the trip from either end, from the Bilgola Beach car park near the surf tower, or from the north end of the car park to Newport Beach.

Walking in the center is easy and well built although there are a few steps. On the way, stop at the South Billgola Head Viewing Platform for a beautiful view to the south. Note that dogs must be leashed at all times and are not allowed on the beach at the end of the tour.
Finally, one of the best dog-friendly beaches on the north coast can be found in Manly.
